We parked out a bit...this way to the park.
Nara Park is located in the town of Nara. The sacred deer roam free. We bought deer cookies to feed them. 
There were also temples to visit. The main one we wanted to see was being renovated. We couldn't even see it because when they do renovations, or new projects, they put up a tent around the project.
Deer cookies. They look like people cookies we've had. ☺️
